    Anyone taken any ice thickness measurements in madison county area?...I plan on going ice fishing this Sunday...Hopefully, it will be thick enough..

    I was fishing in Macoupin County on Wednesday with a newbe to the ice and found 3 1/2" of black ice. caught crappie and gills. he's hooked on hard water.
    it sould be better now. be careful. hope this helps
