    Default Fish story


    Had a limit by 10 this morning, but had one unusual event. I got a bite in about 12 foot of water. As I set the hook the fish got tangled in the brush. I couldn't get it out so I decided to just pull. Out came a 8 inch black crappie with a 4 in. orange crankbait hooked in its mouth. Apparently when I pulled him out of the brush a snagged crankbait got hooked in it's mouth. That was a first.

    I couldn't catch a single fish where I did yesterday so I tried some other places, and hit the mother load. The brush was loaded with bait and I got 10 overs in a 10 yard stretch. 14-18 foot of water. All on jigs like the last couple of days.

    Z21 I'll be with XXL in his 94 green and white Ranger. I've got an '07 purple and silver Z21 with a 250 merc. Not real sure where we will put in Z21
