Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Tim (fisherhawk). I bought a new 2007 Fisher Hawk 17" in early Sept. I will be hanging out at lake Bloomington most of the time. I like to fish for Crappie most of the time, but when it heats up I like to try and I do mean try catfishing.
I have a son in college in Michigan that likes to fish when he is home, but most of the time you will see "Cash" my fishing dog hanging over the front of the boat with the wind blowing through his ears. Sometimes my wife and daughter will be on board catching rays and being pulled in the tube.
I have learned allot from this board already and will probably ask questions that will make allot of you roll your eyes thinking "I can't believe someone would ask such a easy question". PLEASE bear with me I want to think I am a fast learner. :D
The past week was a great week for crappie at Lake Bloomington. Caught around 30 between 9 - 13 inches. But what I really liked was the hybrid stripers that I caught! boy what a fighting fish.
I look forward to joining in some of the conversations in the future,

Fisherhawk--If you like those stripers, try throwning some type of in line spinner (like a rooster tail) right where the water comes bubling up between the ramp and the dam( lake bloomington). At times it can be a ball
