    Default Fish for supper

Started out about 11 and fished purple/chart. white/chart on a 1/4 deep ledge jig. Fished 8-17 fow. Most of the larger fish hit in deeper water. I had 9 overs and 4 unders that took the jig a little to deep to turn back. Most all the fish hammered the jigs and took them deep. I caught most of the fish in the wind, which I hate to do, but could not find fish out of the wind.
The fish for supper are not these but perch that shild, birdman and a couple of others along with myself caught up at Lake Erie over the weekend. The trip was hosted as a birthday gift to Shild. We all had a great time. We're expecting bigger and better for his next birthday.. Thanks Shonn

Nice job Double X. I heard a story that Tyler cooked up 100 perch fillet's for just 5 guys. Said there was not one piece left when they were done I can eat a lot of fish but, 100 pieces for just 5 people..Dayum. They must taste better than Crappie.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

5 or 6 at a time. We had 3 different coatings and we could have went through 150 fillets. He's still a growing boy. They taste great, but different than crappie. I've got the oil going now.

We could have had more if XXL wouldn't have kept throwing back those 7 inchers! "...that's a 7 inch perch you just threw back!!!" haha I'm going to draw 2 pencil marks on the side of XXL's boat next time I fish with him...he'll know what it means! :D
