I caught a black nose crappie in Shelbyville last Tuesady--10.5 in [black crappie]
Thought I had a hog until I put him in the boat--light colored --caught it mid lake in 7-8 ft off a lay down--minner

Those blacknose are really something Frank. It's amazing how straight that black line is, nature doesn't usually have straight lines. I can't say that I have actually caught one before, but I had one jump in my canoe at Sangchris lake. Nonetheless, it still ate good!

They are fairly common at Kentucky Lake. That is the only place I have ran upon them.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
