I was catching mine around structure,5 to 6 foot deep,in 10 to 15 feet of water.Tube jigs and small curly tails were workin.Outboard has been acting up,so when ever it gets outta the shop,i'll give it a shot again.
Fished today and caught 5 total with 1 keeper. Keeper was 10 1/4" and the rest were between 8 and 9". Pretty breezy out there today with the west wind. Was fishing as much structure as I could find and fished between 1 1/2 - 2' in depth. Got rained on then the hail hit me for a few minutes so I high tailed it back to the truck and no sooner than I got to the truck, it quit. Sun came out and was pretty nice after that. Was using a 1/16th tube in orange/chartreuse & brown/chartreuse. Be hittin' it again tomorrow.
Good fishin' to ya.
Thanks for the report guys, Decatur is a tough but good lake. I haven't seen many boats when I go over 105.
