Has anyone been to the lake lately or have any thoughts on how the fishing will be this weekend?

I'll be there this afternoon and this weekend. I imagine (and hope) to see some more fish transitioning to fall areas. There has been areas on the lake from almost bo woods to findlay that I have been catching really good fish for 2 months now. Just not a ton of numbers. I expect this sharp temp drop in the water to really scatter the fish some and expect the south end to remain the most consistent bite for a few more weeks. I'll report in later

FLW tournament this weekend, hooked into a small whitebass in four feet of water and had a Muskie hit at it seconds later. Fun 30 second ride. Muskie guys caught it a half hour later at the same four foot deep tree. Water temps in Lithia cove were 72. After that it was a downhill day, blew a power head idling. . Tomorrow I am stuck hitting the Lithia coves and using the trolling motor. Did manage some crappies on minnows though so they are still biting, probably not as good as before the cold front but you should still get some.

Thanks for the info I only caught 5 unders on Sat. It sure is nice for all the pleasure boats to stay at the the house.

Sunday was a much better day to fish. Less wind and pleasure boaters. My brother and I got our limits. Its only going to get better.
