Making ice & I'm luvin it

This is the coldest spring we have had in northern Mn. for the last 28 years.
Last year this time I was looking at the lakes opening up & getting everything ready to hit open water.
It was around 9 or 10 degrees this a.m. & we are making ice not loosing any.

With the forcast I believe we will have another 10 days at least to ice fish maybe longer.

holly smokes, still making ice. I'm totally ready to get my boat out on the open water, but this cold windy weather just isn't helping none.

Yeah I hear ya! we here in Minneapolis have open water too but the cold wind and snow has kept me off. Good thing I only have a 2 hour drive to big sandy ice to get my fishin fix !!:D
