    Default Broke out the Marcum VS620!


    Got the Marcum VS620 out of the closet, hit the power button and it came right on! I bought it last Winter and we nev er had ice to use it! Looking forward to using it alot this Winter!! I have a week long trip to Colorado over Christmas break and I'm planning on icing a few hundred of those Boyd Lake crappie!!!Name:  527323_2578766365568_1524826056_n.jpg

    Don't see any fish on there---but other than that it looks good..

    Might as well put the Vex away, got some 50's coming in. Going to get some minnows and do some Perchi'n tomorrow..

    You get perch moving in on the shoreline there, too?

    Back down home in Iowa, they move up onshore in and around Okoboji, Big Spirit and the lakes around there every fall. We see of that here in Minneapolis, too, but mostly what we see are real dinks. We take quite a few from time to time on crappie plastics. Those are almost always on the bottom, tight to the bottom, taken while jigging on the first lift starting up.

    Yes, they come into 1-2' of water if the minnows are there. Yesterday we caught them in 12' the water Temp is 40 now. I thought the bigger ones would be hitting. It was real flat out there. Better fishing with some chop..
