where oh where do the ice fishermen GO

Hello out ther in ice fishin land,myself i've never been ice fishin and would love to go some day,BUT was wondering where is a good place(location wise) to go Ice fishin realy dont know anybody that live where the ICE grows thick.Living in Central Mississippi the water never gets that cold.Any helpfull hint.

There are all kinds of fishing guides from Northern IL, Wisconsin, Minnasota, or anywhere in the upper midwest. Just pick a lake and search for a guide and make a plan. Check out a site called "The Shanty.com" Lots of good ice fishing info there.
Ice fishing is a blast, and with the new portable shelters you can almost fish in short sleeve shirts, with a little heater.
