How long does the season last in Indiana? The season in Ga last from the middle if Oct. to middle of Jan. We can kill 2 bucks and 10 does.

It starts the first of Oct and runs til the middle of Jan. Theres a gun season and a muzzleloader season in there too, it only stops for aweek before the shotgun season. We are only allowed 1 buck taken in your choice of season. We can take several does on the bonus county tags depending on which county your in.

And you can use all the doe tags in each county of Indiana,,,so you can wack does all you want by hunting a different county every day.,,our DNR wants to desimate our deer herd in Indiana and they are doing a fine job of killing them all off,,here in Indiana, our State Legislature listens more to the Insurance lobby and Farm Bureau than the hunters,,we just don't have the dollars they do to protect the herd.

Applied last week for one phase of our quota hunts and will be applying soon for the next phase I plan to apply for. Only 2.5 months until season opens in South Carolina where my sister is but I usually wait till late September or October to go. Hard to hunt in 95 degree heat.

Here in Iowa Archery season starts Oct 1st and runs till Jan 10th. It does close for 3 weeks in there for 2 shorgun seasons and 1 muzzel loader season. You can get one gun license and 1 Archery tag either sex. You have to travel to the far southern counties to get additional doe tags.
