    Been a long time since I’ve had any but it comes with good memories. I know where some squirrels are in Florida that aren’t hunted and on public land that I could have major fun with. Hmmmm, squirrel with a side of crappie…..I’d be in!!

    I've never had squirrel & dumplings but grew up eating squirrel/gravy/biscuits. Hard to beat if done right.

    Haven't had any in years.

    My wife doesn't want any part of it. LOL

    Young squirrel fried is the best but doing what he is great as well. the Meat is firm and delicious and much better IMO than chicken. not a dumpling fan but make stew with the older ones and that's comfort food fo sho! killed a few this year but never really go after them after deer season anymore as my places don't have the populations.
