Like most I’m not a fan of all the lake traffic during the summer. Go early and get off the lake before lunchtime.

I'm not a fan of additional guberment regulations. It's usually that case that the guberment has to make rules for stupid people that have no common sense. I say let Darwin weed them out. I'm kinda kidding, but only a little. I did get a captains license when I got a bigger boat on Lake Michigan back in the day. I wanted to make sure I knew the rules about "right of ways" and "red, right, returning" and stuff like that. I coulda learned it on my own, but I wanted to show proof that I took the effort to learn via a certification in the event that something did happen. Plus to make my passengers at least feel a little safer! lol

you can make babies without a license , you can drive boats without a license, you can even ketch crappie ....
without a license ..... the cure to crowds on the water ,is off the beaten path my friends .....just saying
