Thanks Bud. Apparently Champions of that era used a 1.75 seat post instead of the 1.77's used today. I only got one post with the boat. I'm looking for another now to design & fabricate a removable umbrella holder for use on the back deck. A folding rectangle table umbrella to provide some shade in the back would be nice while taking breaks. Most umbrellas come with a 2 piece center shaft so I would only need the top section and a adapter/holder over to the seat post so it locks perpendicular to the hull.
