    I used to love squirrel hunts, when I was young that was the first hunt I was "allowed" to do ....

    same with me OUtlaw. One uncle used to go get them for grannie but he had stopped. So it was up to me to provide. They had old single shot .22 and a 12 gauge. started with .22 and it shot high and to the left so I had to adjust and didn't have a lot of money for shells so became good with it quickly. First time I killed a couple and cleaned them which you pulled apart and tossed the head and skin to cats. when I proudly brought the meat in grannie said Hmph where are my heads. She made me get under house and fight those cats for the heads and they scratched me up pretty good. LOL.
