    Thanks for sharing. I am still using just plastics but I know today a lively shinner would have doubled my catch rate and Vodka soaked spinners might have tripled my catch rate.. Unless I started eating them for the protein of course.

    Too funny. Seems the shiners are stabilizing. I took some yesterday for a ride mostly as when one hit the hot water it died. Still they didn't die in the bucket like they were doing. The last batch I bought were not near as strong as the previous ones so I think I bought them infected and infected my system as soon as I added them to the tank.
