    My boat has got away twice when launching my boat but I did not try to swim and get it. I waited until a guy showed up at the ramp and he took me to get it. I would never try to swim to get a boat. I had a good friend that tried to swim to his pontoon that came loose from his dock and he drowned.

    Never try to swim to get your boat. I had a friend drown trying to get his pontoon when It came loose from his dock.

    Yeah, I want ever try it again myself either. I set in the boat after climbing it and said to myself " That was not very smart". Sorry for the loss of your friend.
