Nice catch and congrats on winning Tim and Tommy.
Awesome showing from the SC Crappie.com teams. I know they took 1st and 8th but may be some others that fished it.

Thanks Stump, CDC members took 5 of the top 12 spots. Our winning came as quite a suprize, Crappie Masters plays host to some of the top fishermen in the state and country. We préfished only one day, and found fish in 3 areas of the lake. Most fish were around a pound average except one, a two pound fish. We chose to start where that fish was caught, what a great decision that turned out to be. The fish were up and active from the start, we boated 50 in the first 2 hours of the tournament. I turned around and looked at Tommy (RootyTooty) and said we may not win, but we are going to have fun day catching lots of fish. Fun was had, with us throwing 1.25 lb. fish back for hours. As with all tournaments, a little luck was involved as well. We didn't lose a fish all day long, came close on our biggest one though. As Tommy was reeling in a 2lber I eased the net in from behind just as the fish came unhooked and it fell into the waiting mesh. That was our only close call on the day. We started out shaky though, looking like rooky long trollers. The first fish managed to get 5 rods tangled up, once that snafu was cleared, it was clear sailing from there. Thanks Crappie Masters, the town of Greenwood, and CDC, we had a blast.
nice fish
Good write up.
Congratulations guys!
Way to go guys. Both Tim and Tommy and Roland and SYG made us proud. Other CDC guys in there too. Makes me wonder if I am qualified to hang out on here.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
Congratulations to all.
Great results !
