Good to not give up did you stay with one tactic or try different things
fishing with shiners under a cork there are not to many tactics......either shallow or deep.....next to structure or middle of the canal....or where to hook the shiner......I tried them all but the key here was deep....which has been working recently.....8 ft deep in 11 fow.....all caught in an area 3 ft wide x 15 ft......Quote:

Nice catch...good eats too ! Had plans to go tomorrow but this ice and freezing temps .... bummer.
