If you made it through 8-9 hrs of fishing 2 days in a row in those conditions then I would say you are well on your way to being hooked. It was pretty miserable those two days. It's a great experience and really starts to get the wheels turning for learning new techniques for catching not only numbers but quality fish. Good luck with the soon to be purchased NEW BOAT!!
