try pink, white, pink, black, pink, chartreuse, did I say pink? Bubble gum doesn't do as well for me as the fl pink, but it does work. I run 1.25 to 2mph. try drilling lots pf 1/2" or bigger holes in a 5gal bucket or two and drag them to get the right speed. You're well on your way.

Nice catch! So far this year I've caught mine going 1.5-2mph. If i go more than 2 I either don't get any hits or it seems like they hit it and it tears out of their mouths.

Can't help with trolling. Our Local lake is 50 years old . There is still so much timber submerged you will loose the bait before the fish see it
