    It's funny that you say "a hard way to fish" Billbob, because to me it is so much easier than dealing with a motor boat. I have plenty of room. Very stealthy. Exercise. Easy to load and unload at the lake. And gas is reeeeeeally cheap. And if the motor breaks down I have bigger issues to worry about.

    What no electronics? How do you know how fast your going? Kayak fishing is fun which I could come along with yah but the commute is too far

    Thanks for the good words and yes I do carry a PFD. In fact I always carry two if it is just me and three or four if there are two of us in the kayak. That is an absolute must. My kayak is not allowed on the water unless there are PFDs.

    It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

    I've been itching some for a light-weight something like this for some of the rivers around here. I guess once you get a place for everything and everything in its place, it's probably a nice way to fish - barring big wakes.
