I can definitely relate to the off-season doldrums. I'm retired and underfunded, so winter time is tough. You can only tie so many jigs and clean the boat so many times. I do manage to top off the charge on my batteries once a month. And I keep them in the house so they don't freeze. Winter lingers in the norther tier states.

i live in the south where we never have to put the boat up for a long winter . hardley ever a month we can`t take it out on the lake . i will stay in the south
