Injecting or threading a Rubber bait?

I tried injecting plastic baits with a Needle and some scented oil.
It was Anise oil and Sardine oil mixed.

The Rubber goods just shot it right back out.:o

Then I thought about soaking a thick Cotton Thread or String in the Oil mix, and then Pulling some of that String through the Rubber goods.
Trim the String and go fishing.

How about that? Anybody else gone through that much trouble?

what are you trying to do? i just take the plastic bodies and push the needle through after they are poured. then use the eye of the needle to pull the hair through the bait.

Yup, I went to the Local Sewing center and got a needle that has Two Eyes on it. I dont know what it's used for in real life, but here its an Enema for a Rubber frog.

I tried making a Junkie out of him with an injection, now I'm gonna string him out from behind!
