    Default Question for Slab

Is your jig scent oil based? The reason I ask is......I pour my own plastic baits and was wondering if it would be safe to add to the plastic?

I asked the same and he said it is oil based, just add a very small amount to your plastic at first to check

It's oil based, but the recipe has changed and there is some water in it. I guess I could make some that is designed to be added to your plastics that contains no water. Sounds like a plan. Give me some time on that one. Actually bwillaub, just PM me your address, I'll send some of the only oil version I will create a quick one off of just for you. This oil version does not need to be thick, correct? It'll be easy for me to make. Anyone else want some?

Sorry for the late reply. Not sure how I missed you post.

Well I finnaly got to fish as the Shingles are under control , That said I opened one of the orange scent and it was so thick that you couldn't get it out. I guess it's just too old.as I was one of the first to get the first mix.. just through it away. the other color is the same shape too thick to get out of bottle.

Rocket Rich, pm me your address, I'll send you some more.

It's changed recipes a couple times since that first batch went out. Funny thing is, everyone wanted it thick. Let me ask, if you unscrewed the top, would it come out, or was it all too think even to come out of the top? And did the scent have a number on it, a formula number, if so, which was it (assuming you remember)?

I'll send you some more, thanks for your patience.
