Lanier Crappie!!

Are there any crappie being caught on Lanier? Planning a weekend trip to the lake with the family and I plan to wet a few lines. Have not seen any post on Lanier. Any help with general areas would be appreciated.

Run a search on CDC. There were some Lanier people on the board.

They have been doing good on the north end of the lake.I haven't heard or done anything on the south end.A couple weeks ago the water temps on the south end were still in the high 40;s.

The crappie are starting to move to the shallows. The bigguns are being caught quite often right now in 8-15 fow. Fish being caught in Taylor and Toto creeks. The weather has been playing with them a lot. Seems like this happened last year also. Laydowns and docks are the key to Lanier crappie, especially if you cant find them shallow.
