Default Fishing Lake Eufaula this Weekend

Taking the boys over to Eufaula Friday night. Staying through til Sunday afternoon. Will be at Rood Creek and will most likely be wetting the hooks at Little Barbour Creek and Grass Creek. Anybody over that way look us up. We are going to fry fish Saturday evening before heading back out. If we don't catch anything the fish will be rather small........but fresh outta the minnow bucket.......

Thats great Trump, I was over there in April and we had a great time too. Can you provide us with some details?
    Birddog,

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

We trolled jigs and small spinner baits all the way out of Rood creek. Caught zip. We then high tailed it to Little Barbour Creek and set up the lights etc. We fished minnow under a small cork and also tight line. Within 2 minutes of dropping the first minnow....fish on. We were catching probably 1 every five minutes or so till the rain ran us out.

We trolled and tossed spinner baits early Sat. morning all along Rood Creek and up in the gator hole. Caught several crappie of medium size in the gator hole and a couple of 12-13 inch large mouth bass(which we threw back....darn ole bass keep getting in the way of my crappie fishing) LOL...
We came back in around noon and rested up for the nite......Good thiing we did.... Had the lights up and running by 6:30........all we could do to keep 2 poles each in the water. All fishing was in 25-28 feet of water and the carappie were staying around 7 to 12 feet..... Left at 1a.m. my boat had 59 crappie, 6 catfish and a bream. My boys boat had 38 crappie, 4 catfish and 3 bream.....

Had a blast, caught some fish and recharged my battery.....

Yeah, I do. He works with me. Told us about the fishing trip.
Read your post. It sounded familiar and thought I'd ask. Been Knowing Pigeon for about 25 years.
I bet a fishing trip with him would be entertaining to say the least.
