Took one of my sons fishing for Father's Day. Had a great time. Had to wait a while for the bait man to show up at Arrowhead. Got real excite when I got there and found out they had sold out of minnows. Thought the bite was on. Decided to hit the main lake 280 bridge before the lake turned into the ocean. We hit the pilings and everything around them from 10' to 29'. They had torn down the old bridge. Wish they had taken some of that bridge and made some fish structure on the river channel. Marked fish everywhere from the bottom up to 6'. Just couldn't get them to bite anything. I don't think I have ever changed lures or bait as much before. Gave up on the specs around 11 am and went to look for some gills/crackers. Found some small ones and some schooling white bass. The sun finally stayed out and heated the temp up but not the fishing. Probably going back tonight or tomorrow night since the moon is getting bigger and brighter. Either going back to 280 bridge and RR bridge or out of Cedar to the main lake deep docks.

Hope everyone had a great Father's Day weekend. If anyone has done anything on Blackshear lately, please let me know. Gonna give it a couple more times, and then gonna go join everyone else on the other lakes.
