we caught these sat 4/12/08 on lanier i almost forgot to take pictures we had already started filleting them
Hope you done mind a bama slab. Caught this one last spring on upper bear in bama. Pic was fresh out of water. After being in livewell all day, and dry for about an hour"did not know the water had been drained". She weighed 2.8.
2 pounds and that does not include the baseball in the stomach:eek:

they are a silver gray color then turn a red later in life before they run up stream to spawn and die

Last Tuesday with out to the lake here in Tifton to "shake-down" my new boat and catch some crappie. The crappie wouldn;t bite so I decided to just throw some worms in deep water for bass. Know this is the crappie site but hey-----new boat, first time out fishing in it, pins recently in my shoulder---maybe I bought a "LUCKY" boat!

I have seen a photo just about like that and it was proven to be "doctored". I will tell you that it is a very beautiful snake...........DEAD!
yea haw big snake but he is holding it close to the camera he is 1 i killed last year that aint close to the camera and i am 6-4 !!!:D

Man! Just reviewed all the fish! Great catches. Have you noticed how elusive the 3+ lber is? They are hard to come by, Im still looking.
Hey Bud if you find those 3 lb crappie I'll take two of them for my wall .
I have had a couple of them to my boat but never in my boat .
Maybe I need a new boat .
Lets see if the wife goes for this idea.. Ha HA .
