Jim and I combo trolled on Lake Oconee yesterday. The wind and cold conditions during the first part of the morning made the fishing tough on us old folks. The water was 53-54 degrees and we marked a lot of fish. The sun started peeking through before lunch and the wind died down making the conditions more bearable. The bite was good and we caught a lot of fish in the 9-10 inch range but managed a few good ones also. At days end we had 11 good fish. The fish were deep and we added weight to get to them. It was good to be back on the water and we saw several hard core fishermen friends out there. On our last trip we had problems with my Yamaha. After that trip we pulled the carbs, cleaned the jets and changed the filters. She ran fine yesterday. I hope you enjoy the video.
