Default Benefits of Being A Crappie.com Member

Hello to all of my Crappie.com family,
I cannot believe what a group of great friends that I have met in the past 5 months since joing Crappie.com. The first person that I talked to was Papa Sage and I was overwhelmed how nice he and his wife Faye was to me. I then met the famous Falcon Smitty. Hey what else can I say about this great man and his wife.
Just abouyt 4 years ago I was injured while fighting a fire. See, I was a firefighter for almost 21 years. I got really deep into depression because I was not able to do things like I use to. I found this wonderful web site and I am just over whelmed with the great people that I havce already met. I was taking medication for depression and since I have gotten involved with this crappie. com the doctor jusat can't believe how much progress I have made. Ya'll people are just the greatest. I know Crappie.com has help-ed but I give the most thanks to GOD for leading me to ya'll.
I know that there are people that I will miss but I do want to thank the following people for being there for me: Birddog, Falcon Smitty, Papa Sage, Mud Turtle, Reelcrappie, Pole Fisher, Crapster, Diamond Jim, Deputy Dog, Drill Instructor, Score300,m Trumpdriver and his son,and alot more. I know I have missed several but please forgive me. All of you guys and your families are what make this site what it is. GOD bless you all.

Hey Rusty, great post! I can say the same about the members here. I have personnaly met quite a few and have only great things to say. The first person i met from crappie.com was Jimmys. I got in contact with him when i moved to Ft Stewart, to make a long story short, he went out of his way to catch me some mud minnows that i used to fish on the coast. I still owe him for that. All of the other guys are great and are willing to do things like that for you. Although some of them catch all the fish in your secret spot while your deployed to Iraq Just kiddin Dog catch them all

as always glad to hear you are safe today DI. Where is that spot???
Everyone I have met on here with one exception has been great. I know I am glad to have met each of you. We just know the ga and bama guys. crappie.com is nation wide. Full of great people. It is amazing to me. crappie fishermen are just cut from the same mold I guess.

Ragfly, it has been a honor to meet you and your wife and I'm proud to call you friends. Everyone that I've met have been really great people and a lot of fun to be around. I might not catch many fish but I guarantee that no one enjoys this as much as I do. See you at the slabfest.

participate in the tournament. I really enjoyed being there. Everyone made me
feel right at home. Maybe sometime soon I will be able to fish with you guys.

I too am very gratefull for the Crappie.com family. The fist person I met on here was Crappieday and then DI. I used to think I was an excellent crappie fisherman until I found this site. I didn't realize how much I DIDN'T know. Thank you DI for the lessons, Crappieday for the fishing and jigs, Ragfly for the guidence on Blackshear, and everyone else for the conversations, information and just plain fun. Can't wait for Blackshear to meet up with some more of the great people from this group.
To heck with work, lets go fishing.

You are right RagFly, Crappie.Com and its members are good for the soul. I found the site just surfing the net. Since then I am back fishing regularly again and watching the stress just fade away. It amazing how day to day activities can sneak in and consume your life. I could go fishing and never put a hook in the water and enjoy it. You know that might be cheaper too since I can't catch fish when I go :D . Thanks to all of you for making me and StumpHanger feel so welcome. I don't think it will be much longer before our wives will start fishing with us regularly or at least going with us to camp and enjoy the great outdoors. See ya'll at Slabfest
