Took my step son to Sinclair today. We started fishing right as the sun was coming up and fished until 2:00. Started off in Rooty Creek longlining double 1/16 oz jigs in 20 to 25 feet of water. We caught about 30 before 9:00 with 15 keepers. About 10:30 the bite slowed in Rooty Creek so we headed over to Goat Island. Fished behind the island and quickly added 5 more keepers to the box. We tried Nancy Branch before we left and didn't catch any keepers there. Overall total was about 50 fish caught with 20 keepers. Biggest fish was right at 2 lbs. Best color of the day by far was acid rain. Water temps in Rooty Creek were 53 degrees, around Goat Island 54 degrees, and Nancy Branch was between 52 and 53 degrees.
