Thread: Lake Oconee January 16th

Thanks to help from our mentors, Hotwater and Kissimmee Kowboy, my brother and I found some fish at Lake Oconee today. We searched 5 or 6 locations before marking fish on the main lake. Most were in 15' to 20' of water within 100 yards of the shore. Water temperature was 50 deg. when we started and 51.7 deg. by the time we left. Probably caught 50 fish, but plenty of small ones. We kept 18 fish over 10" but most of them we kept were around 11" to 12". Below is the smallest and some of the nicer ones we caught.
