The same thing happened to me the other day.....except it was my tackle box. Full of new jig heads and grubs. Along with my fishing license.

I wish somehow I could have packed a bobcat in there so when they opened it up.....

    Durn crook.

Now that is a new twist on the "big fish" story! Talk about hurt, I know I would be.

Dang coolers aren't cheap anymore either

Where is all this meanness taking place? I trust people and therefore leave all my fishing belongings out most of the time.
Now we caught a feller stealing our Sunday morning "Telegraph." Only $1.50, but it's the idea of someone taking something that isn't theirs.

I had a miter saw sotlen from under my carport one time and the first question the cop asked, you guessed it: "Was it locked up". I said: "no it was on my property, out of sight, so whoever took it was trespassing in the first place. Now since it wasn't looked up does that mean you don't have to look for who took it?"

I never did hear anything back from them about it.
    Birddog,

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

A few years ago I lost some stuff out at my shop. The cop that came out said I needed to put up a no trespassing sign before he could do anything.
Since the dummie rented from me I told him since he had not a no trespassing
sign on his house I could steal from him. Just give me a dumb look and couldn't think of anything to say. He didn't last long!!

    Default Sick Feeling

Some years ago I was working out of town during the week and came home on friday afternoon to find that someone had stolen my 9.9 mercury off my boat. Fenced in yard with two dogs[ so much for the dogs]. My neighbors said they heard my dogs barking in the middle of the night but did not get up to look. Man was I sick, They even took time to get the fuel line and tank. Best running motor I ever HAD. O well life goes on. JimmyS.

I wonder if the wife just forgot to put the tailgate up and they slid out on the way home?
I found a cooler full of drinks on the side of the road that apparantly fell out of someones boat on the way to the boat ramp the other day.
