Little river fishin hole...No water lice.

I decided to avoid the big lakes this week end and save myself from being rolled around by jet skies and water skiers and went to one of my favorite holes down by the river. This one is only about a 3/4 of a mile threw the woods.



After fighting off the squadron of of man eating yellow flies i finally made it to the hole.



With the first cast of my Chartreuse/White marabou jig, about 18 inches under a cork, I was rewarded with and nice little Speckled perch.



I caught a bunch of fish and a couple trees, but brought home a little mess for supper.
I think I'll go back in a couple weeks when the river goes down after "Alberto" quits dumping water on us.
