Taken a few kids fishing

I am taking a few kids fishing Saturday the 24 plan on putting the boat in at swords what can I do to let the kids have a little fun catching a few crappie.i have not been in a few years. any help would be appreciated.

If you are taking kids with you trolling is probably easiest and best.
If you are putting in at Swords the upper end will probably be so crowded tomorrow you can walk boat to boat.
Try going under the bridge towards Blue Springs Marina, My son in law is there today and is catching some descent fish and it is a lot easier trolling this part of the lake.
