Electric Filet knife

I have had 2 Tournament choice from Academy, Black and Decker, Ozark Trail and now a Rapala HD. The Rapala works good when the power switch works, you have to get it just right to work. The best one I have had is the tournament choice.

I finally got away from the American Angler knives an bought a Mr Twister and glad I did. Took a little bit to get jused to the blades but this knife is stronger. Rarely, if ever, do I clean a full limit of fish simply because I don't care to freeze fish, but I do clean 10-15 ALOT of times. My Mr Twister and blades are going good after two years now. $20 last I looked.

I used the new black and decker 1 time about 2 months ago. Put it back in the box and shelved it. Got another Twister from Academy. You can get 7 or 9 inch blades.

Dang, I guess I am the only one that still uses a manual fillet knife

the original Rapala knife, have filleted thousands of fish with them. $14.44 at Walmart, $25 at Bass Pro WTH?

I have three old Rapala knifes and use them every week BUT when you have 76 and a short window, I bring out the motor. The manual knife does a much better job. I have a 4 inch, 7 1/2 inch, and a 9 inch.

I use AA but I have brand new Mister Twister and a Rapala I bought on clearance as backups. I buy new blades every year, it seems to cut better with the new blades and it takes the stress off the motor. When you filet 60 crappie that motor gets hot. My wife's dad always used a Mister Twister and it worked great. I think all three brands are good knifes.

a good sharp blade works best . i use a dremel with a round rock and sharpen my blades

I’ve had the yellow/green and the blue/white mr twisters but I now have the yellow American Angler and I like it better.

I learned on a manual, but times have changed! LOL!
