Default WE HAD A BAD DAY ON OCONEE 10/26/17

Jim and I fished Lake Oconee today and had a bad day of catching. We fished two spots at mid lake that have been productive lately. The bite was very good for the first 20 minutes and then it stopped. We kept 8 very nice fish. The fish are still in the timber anywhere from 10 feet to the bottom. The water was 68 degrees when we started and was 69-70 degrees when we finished. The best color for me was popsicle.
We combo trolled as usual. We got our taste of the humble pie today. It was a gorgeous day but blue bird skies and high pressure make for tough fishing.

Mama told me they would be days like that. They seem to happen to me more often than not.

Fishing during High pressure is tough. At least you didn't draw a skunk.
