Jim and I combo trolled on Lake Oconee today. The weather was cloudy when we started and the water temperature was 72 degrees. The bite was good all day and we quit fishing at 2:00. We kept 30 fish that ranged from 11 to 15 inches in length. The best baits were Wildcat, Fire/Ice and Popsicle. Most fish seemed to be holding in 20-25 FOW on the edges of the channel. The water temperature was 75 degrees when we finished. We fished the same area on Tuesday with mediocre results and only managed to catch 14 keeper fish. Every day is different!
