    tough fishing Monday got one hit on jig lost hem broke line 4 lb test one small crappie and one perch . herd a few was caught pushing minnows in channel around swift creek . water were 56 too 59 deg .
    river area was slow also talked to a couple of fishermen one caught a few but that was all day Sunday and one fished for a while and din`t get a bite fishing the trees .
    retired and now i will always fish

    It's been tough fishing all over Papa. Figured this cold snap would help things get better. Must have been too cold. Give it a few days and it should get better...maybe. Spring is here!!??

    yes they were biting till this cold front moved in .. water to cold
    retired and now i will always fish

    I went Sunday thinking it would have been a better day. Nothing for over half the day. Once I saw the temps and the wind blowing harder than forecasted. I should have went with my gut feeling and loaded back up.
