Headed down Monday for a week and wondered if the crappie will be up or have they done their thing and headed back out? Any reports appreciated

I was down last weekend, and while we did catch a few fish, it seemed a bit slow for this time of year. I did talk to several other guys with mixed results. We stayed at Highland marina, so we fished more around that area of the lake. I did see pictures from another guy that was fishing in whitewater area that did have his two man limit. I'm going back this weekend, and will report on Monday how we do. Good luck to you.

I'll be there Monday also for the week. What's the water temperature? "Fishook28" if you see a gray Lowe with a Yamaha on it come say hi. We'll be staying at whitetail campground.

We were there this past Mon and Teu and didn't do well because of the cold snap. Did talk to several that had great luck last week. A lot told me that they are not thru but if weather is good next week it should be great

We fished last Friday & Saturday (18th & 19th). Caught good numbers in a few creeks, but lots of throwbacks in the shallow water (4-8 fow). The better fish were in 15-18 fow.
Did the best in Whitewater and a small creek on lower end, and caught a few in Wolf creek. Don't think we kept a single fish in Beech & Stroud (Yea, we moved around a lot).
Water was clearer on lower end and water temps were at, or near 70 degrees by noon everywhere we were. The midday/mid-afternoon bite was very slow. We brought home 65 keepers total.

Fished Thursday of last week in 9-10 feet water. Water temp was 71.4 at noon. Got tired of culling and left at 1:30. Early morning bite was not there as usual. Really picked up between 9 and 12.
