Hi Everyone,
Spent about six hours on the water Sunday, and caught around 35 fish. I ended up with 18 to clean with the biggest just under 12", and the smallest just shy of 10". Really beautiful day on the water. MANY boats at the ramp, and I talked to a few with mixed results. I found most of my biters in about 12 to 15 FOW fishing about 8 to 10 foot down. They seemed to want the darker color jigs (blue, black), and if it didn't have a minnow, forget about a bite. I fished just down river from Ringer access in some of the coves. Water was anywhere from 52 to 56 degrees depending on the area, and with the warm weather this week, it won't be just the air that warms up!
Great to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather!!
