Default SLOW MONDAY IN SUGAR CREEK REPORT

Kowboy and I fished out of my boat today in Sugar Creek. We started about 7:45 and the water temperature was 54-55 degrees. We fished hard until 4:30 and kept 25 good fish. The water was 58 degrees when we quit. As usual we pushed 6 rods out the front and also pulled 10 rods. The fishing was slow for us all day but we did manage to catch a couple of 2 lb. fish. The acid rain curly tail still seems to be working about as good as anything with popsicle and wildcat colors close behind. The highlight of our day was seeing a couple of CDC celebrities on the water Earl and Cuz. I might be wrong but as we were rolling up at 4:30 I think we saw Hobo. I talked to a crappie fisherman at the takeout and he said the water in the back of SG was 68 degrees. We had a blessed day. The fishing was good, we didn't tear up any equipment and the truck battery wasn't dead when we got ready to take out.

It was great seeing the Dynamic DUO on the water today. We only kept 19. Beautiful day but the fishing was slow or at least Cuz and I were. Here is a picture of Cuz first two pounder of the year!Name: OCONEE CUZ 2 LBER 3-7-2016.jpg

I was wondering what you did. Looks like it slowed a bit. That is a nice fish in the pic.
