    Default Lake Oconee Report 3/6/16

Jordan and I put in at Sugar Creek Marina at 6:45 am and went out Sugar Creek and up the main river channel. We had lines out at 7:20 am and picked up our first fish within 10 minutes. We fished until 2:00 pm and ended with 37, several pound plus fish the largest was 1.6 lb. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457305064.848289.jpg

Water temp started out at 53 when we left Was 57. The bigger fish hit a ice blue with chartreuse tail slider and the smaller fish hit everything I had out. Some friends caught a lot on Saturday with Popsicle and blues in the same areas go figure. The biggest fish did not start biting until late morning.

We ended up with 27 Nice fish today as well. I did not catch as many as you because Earl caught them yesterday. It was nice of him to leave me a few. The old man had a great time playing with the net. Did see Curtis. Probably going to need some more hooks after the last 2 days. Water was at 60 degrees around 2:00. With the near 80 temps this week fish should be on the bank quick.
