Allatoona 2/27-2/28
Got back over to Toona this weekend to see if we could pick up where we left off. With the recent rains and fronts moving through I figured Sat would be a hit or miss kind of day. Sure enough it was. We fished for about 4 hours and each boat averaged about 20 fish each. We worked several areas but no one produced any getter than the rest.
Got back out on Sunday and the light switch was back on. Guess it took the second day of constant weather to get them in gear. In the same 4 hours my catch rate tripled but 1/3 of those were shorties.
Water was heavy stained to muddy but trash was limited to a select few areas. Sat water temp was 48-50. Sun water temp was 48-52. The trolling bite is getting right but just as it starts it going to end soon.
