West Point 2/20/16

First trip to the lake this year was a success!!!! Took my son and a friend of his to West Point to get a jump start on the Crappie....started out in a creek up the main river run.....fished a creek channel that was 11 to 15 foot deep, never left that creek on this trp ..pretty much caught fish from the time we got there and we left them biting.

We were spider rigging minnows, and the fish were from the bottom up to about 8' deep...

Only kept the bigger ones, so we probably only brought 25 to 30 home, and threw that many back, had several pushing 1.5lbs......but we took enuff to stank up da grease !!!!

Great fishing trip and I know they had fun reeling in all those fish. You can't beat it when they are still biting when you leave. LOL.
