I have used them and have had very good success with them. Used to buy them @ KC's just west of Macon. But they closed and no one else has them around my neck of the woods.

We got some in at Flint River Outdoors ( used to be Leroy's) in response to some tournament guys requests. We do not normally keep them, but can get them most any time. If any of you guys that fish Blackshear (or surrounding areas) would like us to keep them on hand, we will be glad to.

    Thanks!

I see in another post where you bought them out for retirement. Did not notice the name change. Only get down a couple times a year. The older couple were very nice and gave me plenty of minnows. I will be back. Thanks!

Rosey Reds are great springtime minnows. Usually much livelier, more visible and easier to keep alive. Hard to find decent minnows around Blackshear. I don't usually fish them any more but like the big shinnies in the winter and reds in the spring. Never been found of the crappie minnow or tuffies.
