    Default Lead recycling

I have been throwing my jigs with broken hooks etc... in a box to maybe reuse.
i assume the lead can be melted off and recycled. Any of you jig makers melt+ old lead jigheads?

with the cost of lead I sure do!!!!! Even if I find them while fishing I take em home. You'll definately want to do it outdoors if you have a bunch of painted ones.

I don't make my own jigs, just looking for someone that does to give it to. Don't have much yet, but I do know our pres is doing everything he can to shut down the lead smelting plants in the USA.
