    Default Lake Oconee 1-8-16...Kicking off the 2016 fishing season


    Richland Creek today...not to bad for early January, cloudy and raining at times and 1st time fishing this part of Oconee. Caught 45 in all...kept 30 that was 9in or better fish...stripers/hybrids were rampaging. Water was heavy stained and 53-55*, fish were in 20-25 fow, started out long lining double 16th's went to a 16th and a 32nd later in the day. BG Baby Shads were on fire today trolled at .8...Got to meet Hotwater and Bigfishheads, always a pleasure to meet C.D.C. members.

    I seen and talked to you also David hotwater followed me goods morning never made it to Sandy but limited out with all 60 being over 10 inches

    Dark colors were best, with best one being blue/black/char with a red head.
