Default Post rain report Oconee 12/17/15

Closed the golf club early today due to weather, ran some errands and got home around 2...NO WIND...PRETTY CLEAR RADAR...HOOK UP THE BOAT! Sure is nice to have the boat in the water in less than 10 mins at sugar creek! The water temp was 59 ...pretty good conditions out of main channel....trash etc.. The fish were right where I left them! Pulled 1/8 and 1/16 doubles about .7 -.8 ...They were deep! Caught 30+(kept 20 and a kitty cat) in 2.5 hrs and boogied back to the filet table!

don't see why not...as a matter of fact...I'd go and fish noon till dark! ..Let the sun come out some...water temp warm a tinge...and you'll be more comfortable too! suppose to be in the mid 60's and light wind I think! If you dont have any 1/8th and heavier Jig heads, Litewire hooks are now in stock at Oconee Outdoors!

Nice...I had a hog killing instead of fishing yesterday. Freezer is stocked up with venison and pork for the coming year.

Its on now for crappie fishing.
